Just minutes from downtown and right next to Okanagan Lake, Knox offers a little bit of everything for all ability levels—along with stunning views that make every climb worth it.

The 30-minute ride to the top gave us a good warm-up, with plenty of chances to stop and take in the panoramic views of the city and lake.

We chose the acoustic (non-electric) KHS 5500s, a solid trail bike with 140mm front and 130mm rear travel—and they handled everything we threw at them. From loose, rocky patches to flowing descents, the bikes were smooth, confidence-inspiring, and just plain fun to ride.

For our evening ride, we dropped into Simpson and followed it into Shale Slope, a great combo that blends flow with a few technical bits to keep things exciting. The traction was good, the corners were fast, and the scenery was unbeatable with the sun starting to set over the lake.
